I am using DOORS 9.3 with a floating license on a server/client configuration. I want to obtain a Rational Publishing Engine license, and I am trying to determine whether to procur the floating license or a fixed license.
Will my DOORS server/client floating license set-up work with a fixed license version of Rational Publishing Engine, or do I have to go with the Rational Publishing Engine with a floating license?

Your DOORS license configuration has nothing to do with your potential RPE license configuration. Purchase the type of RPE license you need/can afford and don't worry about the technical details.
In other words, a floating DOORS license "is compatible" with an user-based/node-locked RPE license.
